Overview

Tortilis Camp is named after the flat-topped‚ umbrella thorn tree‚ the Acacia Tortilis‚ and is situated in one of Amboseli’s areas of Acacia Tortilis woodland‚ with the majestic backdrop of Africa’s highest mountain‚ and the World’s highest free-standing mountain‚ snow-capped Kilimanjaro. Game drives‚ walks‚ sundowners and bush meals take place both inside the Park‚ and within the camp’s private 30‚000 acre game concession. Tortilis Camp’s tents are all large and spacious‚with elegant en suite bathrooms. There is a main lounge‚ bar and dining area‚ all exquisitely built with natural materials and thatched roofs‚ with magnificent views of Kilimanjaro. Day One: Nairobi- Fly To Amboseli

Be picked from the airport by our representative to start your 3 days flying safari to Amboseli N. Park. You will be transferred to Wilson airport where you will board your flight by 9.00am headed to Amboseli. The flight is approximately 40 minutes, you will check in at the Lodge in time of lunch. Relax and refresh, you will thereafter have an afternoon game drive. On arrival you will be picked up from the airstrip and transferred to Tortilis Camp‚ where you will be greeted by the beauty of Africa’s largest mountain‚ Mount Kilimanjaro. The park is favorite to many safari goers who want to have an up-close view of free-ranging Elephants, Cheetahs, Lions, Leopards, Bat Eared Fox, zebra, Giraffe, different types of antelopes among other wild animals

Day Two: Amboseli National Reserve

You will set out just before sunrise in search of game as you enjoy the richness of the Park’s wildlife and endless savannah. Amboseli is best known for its unrivalled views of Kilimanjaro and the local elephant population. There are over 1000 elephants in the parks eco-system‚ featuring some of the largest in Africa.  After the game drive you will be treated to a full bush breakfast‚ al fresco‚ in the middle of the plains‚ surrounded by wildlife.

DAY three :AMBOSELI NATIONAL RESERVE

Early in the morning you will have your morning game drive.return to the lodge  to take your breakfast then relax for sometime in the lodge as you enjoy your new environment and also enjoy lodge facilities like swimming pool if there is and WIFI later you will take your lunch and in the afternoon you will depart again for your game drive and then return to the lodge.

DAY four: Amboseli-Fly To Nairobi

Enjoy an early morning game drive before returning to your camp for Breakfast. After breakfast, check out with an en-route game drive off Amboseli. After checking out‚ you will be transferred to the airstrip for your flight back to Nairobi
