Overview

Delightful pink flamingoes await to freshen up your vision at Lake Nakuru. Visit the diverse fauna of Masai Mara’s famous wildlife sanctuary including lions, cheetah, hippos, buffaloes, zebras, giraffes, Oryx and many others, as well as Amboseli giant herds of elephants with the picturesque mountain Kilimanjaro in the background.

 

Rare black and white rhinos can also be surveyed from the observation hills of Amboseli national park. Tsavo West is a geological treasure with broken volcanic hills and beautiful Mzima springs housing luscious fish, hippos and crocodiles.

 

You’ll be thrilled visiting the oldest and the largest safari park of Kenya. The gigantic Tsavo East National park is known for its exclusive and unique wildlife and a splendid safari experience. The red elephants are for sure a breath-taking sight to behold, whereas various African lions, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras and other species can also be spotted playing hide and seek with you here and there in the densely inhabited Tsavo East National Park!

Day 1: Nairobi – Masai Mara National Reserve

You will be picked up from your Nairobi hotel or airport in the morning and drive to Masai Mara through the Great African Rift Valley and Narok Town.

 You will arrive in time for lunch. Check in at Fig Tree Camp and have lunch. In the afternoon, have a game drive through the park in search of the lion, cheetah, elephant, buffalo, other members of the Big Five plus other animals.

Dinner and your overnight stay will be at Fig Tree Camp.

 

 

DAY 2: MASAI MARA NATIONAL RESERVE

You’ll spend this day on intensive game viewing. Choose to spend one full day in the park with packed lunch in search of its popular residents like the well-known predators and their opponents such as the zebra, wildebeest, giraffe, hippo and the dangerous crocodiles with a visit to Mara River. All meals and your overnight stay will be at the luxury camp.

DAY 3:MASAI MARA NATIONAL RESERVE – LAKE NAKURU NATIONAL PARK

After early breakfast, we will take the final game drive in Masai Mara. Afterward, we’ll depart for Lake Nakuru. The drive passes via Lake Naivasha.

We will arrive at Lake Nakuru in time for late lunch. In the afternoon, you’ll spend the entire evening in the park. Lake Nakuru is famous for its big population of flamingos and the rare white rhino.

Dinner and your overnight stay will be at Lake Nakuru Sopa lodge.

 

 

DAY 4: LAKE NAKURU – AMBOSELI: (410 KM 6-7 HRS)

 

You’ll have a short morning drive as you exit the park. A long and easy drive to the Amboseli awaits you today.

There shall be stops to view the Great Rift Valley and other scenic spots along the safari route. You’ll also stop and enjoy lunch at the famous carnivore restaurant in Nairobi.

On arrival, enjoy a short game viewing drive with possible views of the Mount Kilimanjaro peaks at Amboseli (if the weather permits).

Your overnight stay will be at Kibo Safari Camp.

 

DAY 5AMBOSELI NATIONAL PARK

 

Enjoy a full day spent in the Amboseli National Park with game drives. Mount Kilimanjaro is the highest mountain in Africa and is snow-capped at the peak. The majesty of this tropical mountain makes Amboseli an ideal photographers haven by offering a spectacular background for wildlife and scenic photography.

Herds of elephants inhabit this swampy park together with lions, cheetah, buffalo, warthog, rhino and different species of antelopes. The park is also a home of interesting bird species. All meals and your overnight stay will be at the luxury camp.

DAY 6: AMBOSELI NATIONAL PARK – TSAVO WEST NATIONAL PARK

 

Early before breakfast, enjoy game drives and probably the last sights of Mount Kilimanjaro. After breakfast, continue for one more game viewing drive. Later, proceed to Tsavo West to arrive in the afternoon.

Check in at Kilaguni Serena Safari Lodge for lunch and a short relation before going for the afternoon game drive, visiting the Rhino Sanctuary with game viewing to and from the sanctuary.

Dinner and your overnight stay will be in your safari lodge.

 

 

Day 7:Tsavo West National Park – Mombasa or Nairobi

 

Your early morning breakfast will be followed by a visit to Mzima springs. Here you will find a huge pool of water emanating from the river underground with sources in the Kilimanjaro forming a home to hippo’s crocodiles and fish.

 There is an underground glass observatory tank that will enable you to view all the animal activities from underground. Thereafter, depart for Mombasa or Nairobi with lunch en-route.

For those proceeding to the coast, your upcoming train journey, you’ll be passing through Tsavo East Parks for more vistas and possibly wildlife viewing.

Your driver/guide will bring you to the train station at Mtito Andei. There, he’ll assist you with tickets and transfer to the Madaraka Express, the new high-speed train to Mombasa and the coast.
