Overview

The Great Wildebeest Migration, is one of the “ New seven  Wonders of the World”. Nowhere in the world is there a movement of animals as immense as the wildebeest migration, over two million animals migrate from the Serengeti National Park in Tanzania to  greener pastures of the Maasai Mara National Reserve in Kenya during July through to October.

 

The migration has to cross the Mara River in the Maasai Mara where crocodiles will prey on them. This is one of the highlights as the animals try and cross the Mara River alive.

 

In the Maasai Mara they will be hunted, stalked, and run down by the larger carnivores. The Maasai Mara also has one of the largest densities of lion in the world and is no wonder this is the home of the BBC wildlife channels Big Cat Diary.

DAY 1: NAIROBI- MASAI MARA GAME RESERVE

You shall depart for a scenic drive down into the Rift Valley, to Maasai Mara Game Reserve, Kenya’s world renowned game reserve. You will have  stopover en-route at the Great Rift Valley for the stunning views and photography.

 

 

You will proceed to Maasai Mara arriving in time for lunch. After lunch and relaxation, at 1600hrs you will proceed for an afternoon game drive till dusk. You will enjoy Maasai Mara Safari to the fullest.

 

Overnight at Ekorok Mara or Similar

Meal Plan: Lunch and Dinner

 

 

DAY 2: MASAI MARA GAME RESERVE

On this day, you will spend a full day on a game drive and you will return later for relaxation at the lodge. As your safari is private, your game drive timings are flexible. You will proceed for an early morning game drive in the Mara and Later, return to the lodge for breakfast. Spend the rest of the morning at leisure.

 

Or

(At an Extra Cost), You can opt to take the opportunity to Enjoy a balloon ride over the Maasai Mara. The balloon company will pick you from the lodge to the launching site for the balloon ride. After landing, you will have breakfast in the bush, accompanied by champagne. Then transfer back to the lodge for relaxation.

At 1600 hrs -After lunch at the lodge, proceed for an afternoon game drive till dusk.

 

Overnight at Ekorok Mara Camp or Similar

Meal plan: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner

 

 

DAY 3: MASAI MARA GAME RESERVE-NAIROBI

 

In the morning after breakfast, you will check out of the lodge, enjoy en route game drive on your way back to Nairobi. You will arrive  in Nairobi by early afternoon, and the driver guide will drop you off  at your desired destination.
