DAY 1: NAIROBI TO SHABA NATIONAL RESERVE

You shall be picked up by our driver and taken to your preferred lodge.  Drive north to Shaba National Reserve (approx. 5 hours). Upon arrival you will check into your lodge or camp and enjoy a delicious lunch.

 In the afternoon, head out on your first game drive in Shaba National Reserve and look out for wildlife such as the rare Grevy’s zebra, reticulated giraffe, gerenuk antelope, and Somali ostrich. Thereafter return to your lodge or camp in the evening for dinner and overnight.

DAY 2: FULL DAY IN THE SHABA NATIONAL RESERVE

Pick up from the lodge by our drive for an early morning game drive in Shaba National Reserve to catch the animals when they’re most active. Visit the Shaba River, where you might be lucky to get a glimpse of crocodiles and hippos, as well as a variety of bird species.

Take a break for breakfast in the bush, and then continue with your game drive. Thereafter return to your lodge or camp for lunch and some relaxation time. In the late afternoon you will be accompanied by the driver to go on another game drive or take a guided nature walk. Return to your lodge or camp for dinner and overnight.

DAY 3: SAMBURU NATIONAL RESERVE

After breakfast our driver will be awaiting you to take you leave on a drive to Samburu National Reserve (approx. 1 hour). Check into your lodge or camp and enjoy lunch.

In the afternoon you will head out on a game drive to the Samburu National Reserve. Look out for wildlife such as the “Samburu Special Five“: the reticulated giraffe, Grevy’s zebra, Beisa oryx, Somali ostrich, and gerenuk antelope.

 You will be driven back to your lodge in the evening for dinner and overnight stay.

Meal plan: breakfast, lunch and dinner.

DAY 4: RETURN TO NAIROBI

In the morning you will have breakfast and prepare to check out of the lodge with our driver ready to take you back and drop you off in Nairobi.
